Ancient markings denoting a culture long present before us; intricate spirals carved into the most brutal of surfaces with a thoughtful hand.

combining motifs from the kerbstones of Newgrange and traditional animals from Irish mythos and folklore, I’ve created seven distinct illustrations focusing on the ancient carvings in the stones, and bringing them into a modern format, and making them an accessible part of our human history in contemporary illustration, alongside native and everyday species of animals.

Printed on high quality black paper in a stunning glittering gold soy ink, these risograph prints represent many increments of the old world we still live alongside.
