Gypsey Race Hag Stone

from £18.00

An ode to the Gypsey Race

The ebb and flow of tides and the meandering water of rivers nourishes, recharges, and creates. Amongst these ever moving currents, you can find stones of pure wonder - hag stones.

The hag stones I have found while exploring coastlines and living by the North Sea have done nothing short of fuel my imagination and adoration for these curative amulets of supernatural power.

Heating molten metal and seeing what nature decides to formulate from the combination, this is a bespoke piece, each one differing from casting to casting. Forged in pewter, filed and finished by hand.
The organic formation of these pieces allows them to look like kin to these ancient stones – they could fall within the mud for hundreds of years, and be found again, perfectly suited to their earthly home.

Each piece is lovingly hand-carved, hand-cast, handmade, and hand finished. They are made from lead-free pewter which is safe for your skin and hard wearing.
