Green Malahide Harbour Sea Glass

from £14.00
UISCE // Glas

It’s a Celtic tradition to honour the land, and this piece of jewellery does exactly that – a recycled dedication to the coasts of Ireland, using a stunning fragment of amber coloured glass from the place which shaped it. This piece was hand-combed from the historical coastal settlement of Malahide in Dublin, Ireland.

Carefully sculpted by the waters from which it came – Malahide Harbour is rich with history, its estuary being a safe place for many travellers, surrounded by the iconic landscape of Malahide village, and overlooked by the iconic Paddy's Hill.

A beautiful piece of glass in fresh hues of green, this recycled relic has been carefully hand-combed and drilled by hand for a secure fastening to a gold plated* sterling silver chain. The necklace will be packaged in a sleek 100% recycled recycled jewellery box, perfect as a gift for yourself or a loved one.

The handmade nature of them makes them very delicate, and I do not recommend wearing this jewellery in the shower, or in bed, as it may wear it down.

*Choice of gold plated chain, 14kt gold filled chain, or pendant only
